What to expect...
Sociable...
Well, this promises to be an informal networking event, where you can come and enjoy a social evening, get to know local business owners, make connections, and most of all, enjoy yourself.
Informal...
There will be no dreaded elevator pitches, as we understand that not everyone wants to stand up in a room full of people and talk confidently about themselves. Instead, we will give out delegate sheets with all the information you need about attendees, giving you the chance to connect with people later, and they to connect with you. Your details won't be included if you don't want them to be, don't worry!
Fun!
Speed networking will also take place, which is a really fun way of getting to know as many people as possible, as we ask you to swap tables and mingle. On top of that, we aim to have speakers at every event, bringing value to you as a business owner. At the end of the night, feel free to stay behind and enjoy drinks as you continue to make worthwhile connections.

The Future
The Ashbourne Business Networking event is aimed at bringing businesses from Ashbourne, Derbyshire, and beyond together. It's completely free, and the evening times were chosen to ensure that business owners with physical premises wouldn't be excluded from attending. To give exposure to as many venues within the hospitality and tourism trade as possible, from January, we'll be rotating venues to make it not only fair to all local businesses, but to give as many people as possible the opportunity to attend.
